One nation reading program

One Nation Reading Together (ONRT) is a step in that direction where children from schools across the country display their love for reading. The event started off with the entire school dropping everything they were doing and started reading, first with teachers and the students reading the pledge, penned by renowned author Sampurna Chattarji, followed by students reading the book of their choice for the next 30 minutes. It was an eye-catching sight to see even the naughty ones reading quietly, savoring this precious moment.

Children displayed their love of reading in the Graffiti Wall. Children wrote the name of their favorite book/author and a quote or just their thoughts on reading and why they like to read. A day dedicated to readers and their love for reading.
