A visit to FNDR R&D center by a 6 member team of science faculties was made in February. To enable the science students of Grade 11 & 12 the visit provided a new platform for research-oriented learning.
DrShridhar Narayanan, Dr. RK Shandil and their team were generous to provide a guided tour of their Biosafety -3 labs. The discussion enabled us to chart the following proposals  Participation of middle school students in FNDR Community Connect Program (support in infectious disease awareness modules delivery in rural middle schools) and the possibility of FNDR working withVidyashilp Academy adopted government schools for delivering infectious disease awareness modules.
Participation of 11th and 12th standard students in internship program, FNDRscientist guiding 11th or 12th science students in understanding scientific publications
Participation of commerce students for one-time engagement, case study (e.g. business market analysis) Talk by FNDR directors at student orientation   Â
It was indeed an interactive forum for exchange of knowledge and opportunities for stimulating young minds.
